Our client is seeking a dynamic and passionate Assistant Designer to join their team. This individual will play a crucial role in creating commercially viable product designs across collections, reflecting the brand's unique style and business strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the design team in creating brand-right, commercial designs that align with the overall concept and business strategy
  

• Deliver design sketches/prototypes and provide clear specifications for construction
  

• Prepare the design team for routine and milestone meetings, including the coordination of line presentation boards and product samples
  

• Communicate ongoing development details to internal partners and vendors
  

• Partner with technical design on fit and execution of prototypes
  

• Track and organize development samples, ensuring timely delivery
  

• Adapt designs based on feedback and apply processes to understand and anticipate customer needs
  

• Stay up-to-date on competitor research and trend analysis
  
  

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with some design experience in a comparable retail environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign is required, and experience with Centric is a plus. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, a customer service philosophy, and a team-oriented approach. They will be highly motivated, results-oriented, and flexible, with a solid understanding of construction instructions and a keen eye for commercial fashion and product styling.
