JOB DESCRIPTION
Overview: this posting is for a project manager who will report up through the Enterprise PMO and drive our Citrix VDI and Apps migration to Azure Cloud initiative.

Essential Functions:
  • Facilitate seamless delivery and drive collaboration across cross-functional global project team
  • Proactive leadership and monitoring to identify and mitigate critical path or resource issues
  • Manage project SDLC documentation following Allianz standards (i.e. Team Working Agreement, Agile Release Report, Status Reports, meeting minutes, risks, issues, decisions)
  • Monitor progress of deliverables, quality, proactively identifying risks, issues and escalation as needed with appropriate leadership
  • Create and maintain plan in MS Project Server; includes budget & forecasting, accruals, invoice mapping, and ensuring resources have appropriate time tracking buckets setup to bill time.  Project Server is our core resource planning and financial management
  • Partner with the team in creating a communication plan that includes stakeholder communication, change management for rollouts, and internal team meeting interfaces
  • Partner with functional resource managers to ensure work efforts are effectively resourced
  • Follow Allianz release management process to schedule and manage delivery releases
  • Interface with stakeholders to manage expectations & escalations
  • Guarantee compliance with Allianz delivery processes and standards

Knowledge, Skill & Competency Requirements:

 
  • Strong understanding of citrix virtual apps and desktops, citrix gateway, and virtualization technologies, with hands-on experience in citrix migrations being a plus.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, etc) and the integration with Citrix solutions, including knowledge of IAAS and cloud security best practices
  • Basic understanding of networking (VPN, firewalls, load balancers), server infra, and enpoint management to effectively oversee the migration process and coordinate with technical teams
  • Knowledge and understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Project
  • Experience in formal techniques of risk management
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Experience collaborating and providing project leadership in cross-functional teams
  • Excellent relationship management skills

Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of IT delivery management experience
  • PMP certification or other formal project management training preferred
  • Citrix VDI cloud migration experience preferred
