JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a talented and experienced Paid Media Strategist to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital media strategy, with expertise in paid search, paid social and paid media.  This role will support our Integrated Marketing Campaign teams in creating and assessing media plans, managing media buys, and optimizing media mix and budgets.

•    Global Paid Media Strategy: Develop and execute digital media strategies across all channels, including social, search and display. Provide initial and ongoing recommendations for media mix and budget optimizations based on audience, platform and budget realities. Critically assess agency work for paid media activations, internationally. 
•    Third-Party Media Buys: Strategize, plan, and manage third-party media buys, including launch, monitoring, and optimization internationally, working with multiple stakeholders   
•    Agency Collaboration: Serve as an expert and internal counterpart to paid media and creative agencies.
•    Activation: Enter data and manage media-related tasks within the designated tools, aligned to corporate processes. May include Claravine, Sprinklr, Google Adwords, LinkedIn and other media platforms.
•    Campaign Optimization: Contribute to campaign optimization by bringing your data-informed expertise, and recommendations for new testing new techniques. 
•    Internal Upskilling: Assist in upskilling internal team members on media strategies and best practices.

Required Skills

•    Proven experience in digital media strategy and activation, particularly in Google paid search, third party ad buys and LinkedIn paid campaigns. 
•    Strong analytical skills and the ability to critically assess media plans and agency work.
•    Excellent English communication and relationship management skills. 
•    Experience making media mix and budget recommendations.
•    Ability to manage third-party media buys
•    Proficiency in using paid media tools and platforms including Google Adwords and LinkedIn
•    Familiar with the use of pixels and tags
•    Experience in media campaign optimization
•    Ability to work collaboratively with agencies and cross-functional, internationally located teams.
•    Ability to quickly learn about and support multiple businesses, geographies, target audiences, and campaign objectives to align strategy, plans and optimizations to business and customer needs.

  • Experience or interest in social media community management
