Top Responsibilities
Five (5) years’ experience with front-end data warehouse or similar processing which includes extracting data for large files from various sources, cleansing data, and preparing the data for loading into a data warehouse. Five (5) years’ experience as an analyst-programmer performing various system development life cycle functions including project planning, requirements analysis, program specifications, coding, testing, and implementation. Five (5) years’ experience working with statistical reporting data tools such as SAS for large volume databases developing and maintaining production reports. Experience with paid and denied claims (diagnosis codes, procedure codes, etc.) and data standards (Protected Health Information, privacy standards, HIPAA data elements, and code sets.)
Required Skills
Five (5) years-experience working in a mainframe environment (with working knowledge of COBOL, VSAM file structures, JCL and TSO) Intermediate level experience with developing program specifications, pseudo code, or logic diagrams -including Warnier-Orr diagrams to identify system changes.
Preferred Skills
Mainframe environment (with working knowledge of COBOL, VSAM file structures, JCL and TSO.
Project Initiative
Candidates will provides mainframe development and analysis for EDW with highly complex data model associate with to 100+ data sources.
Ideal Background
Candidate will have extensive technical expertise in mainframe environment and analytic experience through database querying with healthcare data.
Experience that will set candidates apart from one another
Technical mainframe knowledge in healthcare environment.
Team Structure
Per contractual agreement 1team lead, 6 senior data analysts.
