|Job ID 69459|Posted Feb 21, 2025Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Architect to join their team. This is a 100% remote position, ideally suited for candidates in the EST and CST time zones due to the working hours of 8-5pm EST.
As a Data Architect, your day-to-day responsibilities will include meeting with various groups to guide requirements for building platforms and table mapping. Your expertise in data architecture, analytical skills, and understanding of data mapping will be crucial in this role.
Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with teams to guide requirements for building platforms and table mapping

Provide thought leadership and suggestions on problems and decisions relating to Financial Crimes data and decisions

Write technical documents, data mapping, and JIRA user stories

Conduct data validations and testing

Communicate effectively at the senior management level, presenting findings and preparing presentations and procedures
Required Skills and Experience:

5-12 years of experience as a Data Architect

Knowledge of banking transactions, relational databases, data mapping, and system architecture

Experience with Spark/Informatica and data mapping
-
Proficiency in SQL and high-level analytical skills
-
Experience using JIRA or similar and agile ways of working

Understanding of data lineage and reconciliations

Ability to work independently and learn quickly
Candidates must be able to complete a background check and drug screen upon offer. A degree in a relevant field is required. Experience and exposure to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) or Fraud in the Financial Crimes sector is highly desirable.
