JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is seeking a dedicated Third Party Vendor Risk Assessor to join their team. This hybrid role is open to candidates local to either Maplewood or Austin, TX. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and managing the risks associated with third-party vendors.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments of third-party vendors

  • Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in vendor operations

  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies

  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations

  • Monitor and review vendor performance and risk levels on an ongoing basis

  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation of risk assessments and findings

  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory requirements
     

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Information Security, or a related field

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in risk assessment, vendor management, or a related role

  • Strong understanding of risk management principles and practices

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CRISC, CISA, CISSP) are a plus
