|Job ID 69447|Posted Feb 21, 2025We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tableau Administrator/Developer to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to manage and enhance our Tableau platform while collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver impactful data visualizations.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain the Tableau Server environment, including upgrades and security management.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and security roles within Tableau Server.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize the Tableau environment for peak performance.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau Desktop.
- Connect to various data sources and perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) for analysis.
- Provide technical support and training to Tableau users, ensuring effective use of the platform.
- Document Tableau administration procedures and best practices while staying updated with the latest features and releases.
- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into effective dashboards.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Tableau Administrator, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Strong experience with Tableau Desktop development, creating interactive dashboards and visualizations.
- Excellent understanding of Tableau Server architecture and best practices.
- Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation languages.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with AWS QuickSight and IBM Cognos platform administration.
- AWS certification or knowledge of other AWS services.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and data integration tools.
