JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is seeking a seasoned Sr. Project Manager - Cybersecurity to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in providing leadership and direction to project teams, ensuring project execution aligns with cost, schedule, and scope commitments.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee project execution, ensuring deliverables are met per cost, schedule, and scope commitments.

  • Proactively handle escalations to ensure project goals align with business objectives.

  • Continuously evaluate assigned projects for risks, issues, and cross-project interdependencies.

  • Maintain regular interactions with executive sponsors and stakeholders to ensure a shared vision for the project outcome.

  • Lead the development of the overall approach for projects, including major time frames and deliverables.

  • Control project costs, maintain accurate forecasts, and report variances against budget.

  • Develop and maintain project documentation, work plans, and project deliverables.
     

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field and 8-12 years of Project Management experience in a large multi-unit organization. Alternatively, a Highschool Diploma/GED with a minimum of 12+ years of Program Management experience.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Advanced project management skills in complex IT and business environments.

  • Proven experience managing large-scale, global implementations.
     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, SAFE, CSM).
