Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Technical Designer to join their team. This individual will play a crucial role in executing the technical design process from development to final fit, ensuring the integrity of design approved prototypes while monitoring quality and targeted price.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyzing and evaluating garments to develop the correct fit specifications

• Ensuring products are developed in line with established fit quality, standards, manufacturer capabilities, and cost specifications

• Developing technical specifications and communicating fit to vendors/factories for approvals and corrections

• Making appropriate adjustments with factories as required
   

The ideal candidate will be flexible, a problem solver, supportive, and able to maintain composure in stressful situations. They will have expertise in their field, a history of volunteer or community service, and be open to new ways of working.
 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion, or equivalent experience

• 5+ years of experience in technical design

• Plus size experience

• Proficiency in Excel, Illustrator, and Flex PLM

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and go the extra mile
   

This role is 100% onsite at our client's location and requires a commitment of 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will be provided with a company computer. Please note that this role is a temporary fill for an employee on leave.
