Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr Data Analyst to join their dynamic team. This is a remote, contract-to-hire position that offers the opportunity to work with a diverse and inclusive team.

As a Sr Data Analyst, you will be responsible for the following:

• Developing, maintaining, and managing advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and other BI solutions using Power BI
  

• Performing and documenting data analysis, data validation, data mapping/design, by producing ad hoc reports and complex data queries
  

• Working closely with teams to integrate systems and data effectively and efficiently, ensuring high levels of data accuracy
  

• Designing, building, and deploying BI solutions for the business teams
  

• Troubleshooting issues reported by users and supporting problem resolution
  

• Participating in product evaluations, design review sessions, and consulting with application development products
  

• Reviewing ongoing and proposed projects to identify opportunities for reuse and process improvement
  
  

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Power BI; Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power BI Report Builder
  

• Solid knowledge of relational database concepts; experience with Snowflake, SQL Server, Teradata, and Oracle DB
  

• Proven excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  

• Experience with version control, collaboration, and code management (GitHub)
  

• Knowledge of Azure or cloud-based solutions on SQL platform, supporting key business initiatives, and data Gateway
  

• Experience with healthcare data (claims, financial, provider enrollment, member eligibility)
  
  

Candidates with familiarity with Azure services, SQL, Power BI, Snowflake, and a background in healthcare data will have an added advantage.
