Client is seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer with expertise in automated web testing to join our team. This role will focus on developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Playwright and Python to ensure the reliability and performance of our web applications. The ideal candidate will have experience with modern testing frameworks and tools, with additional knowledge of Applitools, Perfecto Mobile Testing, and StoryBook+Chromatic experience being highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and Python.
- Implement and execute test plans to ensure high-quality web application performance and functionality.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define and improve testing strategies.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
- Utilize tools such as Applitools for visual testing and Perfecto Mobile Testing for cross-device validation.
- Analyze test results, report defects, and work with the engineering team to drive resolution.
- Continuously improve test frameworks, processes, and methodologies to optimize automation.
