Seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer to join a dynamic new data team focused on building and maintaining robust data pipelines and analytics dashboards. This is an opportunity to shape how the team accesses, utilizes, and distributes data that continues to inform critical decision making within the organization. You'll work closely with Business Intelligence Engineers, Data Scientists, Product Managers, Systems Engineers and more.
Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines to support reporting and analytics needs
* Create and optimize automated data workflows using modern data engineering tools
* Build and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms. Quicksight experience is preferred and highly valuable.
* Ensure data quality, reliability, and consistency across all reporting systems
* Design and implement data models that enable efficient reporting and analysis
* Monitor pipeline performance and implement improvements for better efficiency
* Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions
* Document data flows, transformations, and dashboard specifications
Required skills:
* 3-6 years of experience working with large-scale complex datasets and building data pipelines
* Strong expertise in SQL and data modeling
* Proficiency in at least one BI visualization tool (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.)
* Knowledge of data warehouse concepts and dimensional modeling
* Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
* Experience with Quicksight strongly preferred
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills, able to translate technical concepts to business stakeholders
Preferred Skills:
*Plus if they have experience with Metric type reporting before. Metrics in general would be a plus.
