JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is seeking a seasoned Sr. System Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role is ideal for a professional with a deep understanding of multiple operating systems, systems integration, systems architecture, and programming languages. The successful candidate will demonstrate knowledge of network environments and have experience with VMWare and VDI infrastructure. Familiarity with multiple ServiceNow modules, including Incident, Change, Asset, and Request, is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot OCC VDI infrastructure using VMWare and Teradici tools

  • Coordinate with ATL Radio, Delta Radio Shop, and vendor Zetron to monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot OCC Radio infrastructure

  • Install, test, maintain, and troubleshoot operating systems and other systems software products

  • Configure, install, test, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware systems

  • Implement changes to platforms with minimal business impact, adhering to established OCC procedures for VDI and physical infrastructures

  • Create and monitor network/local print queues for all printers

  • Collaborate closely with the Sr. Systems Engineer to manage the OCC network

  • Write, submit, and perform RFCs for OCC Solution Center work as assigned

  • Coordinate external vendor services

The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for all first and second level IT issues, as well as install, move, add, and change (IMAC) requests supporting the IT infrastructure in our client's Operations and Customer Center (OCC). This role requires the ability to regularly move equipment weighing up to 30 pounds.
