JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver data initiatives. This hybrid role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing timelines, and ensuring the successful execution of projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data analytics, governance, and cloud engineering, combined with excellent organizational and leadership skills.
 

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Defining and managing project scope, objectives, and deliverables, including detailed project plans

  • Collaborating with Technology and business teams for effective team coordination

  • Establishing steering/leadership structures, and communicating project updates to stakeholders for effective stakeholder engagement

  • Identifying potential project risks and mitigation; ensuring compliance with applicable policies for risk management

  • Preparing and delivering project reports, dashboards, and presentations for performance monitoring and reporting

  • Managing project budget and resources for budget and resource management
     

Required qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree

  • PMP Certification
     

Preferred skills include:

  • Experience managing projects with Data Integration and Management, including developing and maintaining data pipelines to ingest, process, and store financial data from various sources

  • Proficiency in Database Design and Optimization

  • Experience implementing data quality checks to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness

  • Ability to establish and enforce data governance policies to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards

  • Proven ability to collaborate with data scientists, financial analysts, business intelligence teams, software engineers, and IT teams
