We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mid-Level Security Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security solutions that protect our systems, networks, and data. You will play a critical role in building resilient infrastructures, detecting vulnerabilities, responding to threats, and ensuring compliance with industry security standards
Responsibilities:
- Security Operations:
- Assist the Security Operations Center to respond to security incidents and alerts.
- Maintain and improve security monitoring systems (SIEM, IDS/IPS, etc.).
- Conduct security and vulnerability assessments.
- Threat Management:
- Investigate and respond to security events.
- Conduct root cause analysis and recommend remediation strategies.
- Develop and maintain security procedures and IT policies.
- Network and Systems Security:
- Implement and maintain firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection.

- Endpoint Security toolsets such as CrowdStrike, DLP, and MDM.
- Ensure secure configurations of servers, applications, and cloud services.

- Compliance and Governance:
- Ensure compliance with company policies and standards across the IT enterprise.
- Assist with policy development.
- Perform security assessments for new and existing systems.
- Collaboration and Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on emerging security threats, trends, and technologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related role.
- Proficiency in tools such as SIEM platforms (Splunk), vulnerability scanners (Nessus, Qualys), and endpoint protection solutions such as CrowdStrike.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Hands-on experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Knowledge of security frameworks like CIS, NIST, or OWASP.
- Proficiency in scripting or programming (Python, PowerShell).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, GIAC, or equivalent.
- Experience with SecOps practices and tools.
- Familiarity with Zero Trust Architectures.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and documentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
