Job Description
As a Product Manager, you will help define the product roadmap by working with your product management counterparts and leaders to identify and drive forward new capabilities. You will collaborate with dependent product teams to ensure that the end-to-end implementation journey is thorough and thoughtful. You will write robust requirements, prioritize the backlog across different features and apps, and work closely with the engineering teams to deliver and test quality software.
The role requires a strong product mindset; a combination of business savvy, customer centricity and technical knowledge. We are looking for experienced product managers that have an inquisitive nature and want to solve complex business and customer problems without boundaries.
• Responsible for single product line development lifecycle for BI/Analytics product and prioritizes across broad initiatives with complex scope; Conducts analysis to measure the results of feature deployments to quantify the business benefit/impact, and identify further business opportunities.
• Identifies new opportunities and develop technology solutions that drive value for the client.
• Builds trust, establishes rapport, with stakeholders, cross-functional teams and user base; Helps mentor and provide guidance to other passionate product managers in the team
• Manages multi-phase roadmaps across many capabilities both functional and technical
• Anticipates user needs and desired outcomes and articulates impact across products; Ensure strong measurement and quantitative understanding of services - opportunities, benefits achieved customer pain points.
• Works with business and other Product teams to develop or modify processes, supporting post-launch change management efforts, as needed.
• Articulates product needs clearly and succinctly to different audiences and cross-functional partners
Product Overview:
• Web Analytics – Tealium & Adobe Analytics
• Tagging and data layer strategy and implementation
• Advanced Analytics and data science usage of Adobe clickstream data
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and prioritize day to day intake of tag management requests, including but not limited to: clickstream data requirements for new and existing site functionality & Adobe Analytics tracking configuration
• Facilitate implementation of new tagging initiatives for marketing optimization, personalization, and web analytics purposes to support Ecommerce growth
• Drive improvement in accuracy of data capture by maintaining Adobe Analytics data requirements, working with a team to develop automated regression testing capabilities, and creating mechanisms for proactive anomaly detection
• Define and communicate analytics requirements and facilitate data collection decision making across the company
• Work closely with WEB ECOM product managers to define and implement analytics requirements across the WEB products/applications
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in a digital product management environment, in a business (customer) or technical capacity.
• Experience working with tag management or web analytics reporting and platforms - Tealium, Adobe Analytics required
• Demonstrated technical acumen; ability to influence and debate solutions with technical team members, to understand technology solutions and potential tradeoffs and to represent technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to work with several independent stakeholders at once, prioritizing across them and influencing roadmaps
• Ability to work independently; able to successfully operate in areas of uncertainty and ambiguity; self-starter and quick learner; calm and efficient under pressure
• Versatile and able to prioritize/handle multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment with tough deadlines
Skills:
• Agile methodology as Product Manager
• JIRA/JIRA Plan
• Experience with web analytics tools (i.e. Adobe Analytics required)
• Experience in tag management systems (i.e. Tealium required)
• Experience with JavaScript, pixel implementation, or web development (preferred)
Working Conditions:
• Full-time position – remote or based in San Francisco Bay Area (preferred)
• If located in San Francisco Bay Area, may require occasional work in the office to meet with the team in person.
