JOB DESCRIPTION

 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Data Management and Governance Steward to join our team. This role is essential in overseeing the quality, consistency, and integrity of critical master data within our organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and execute business data requirements while collaborating with various business functions and the Corporate Global organization.
  • Enforce data governance policies and define data standards to ensure accurate and reliable master data across all systems.
  • Conduct data quality analyses and manage the prioritization and resolution of data quality issues.
  • Refine and document regional data definitions and standards, using global standards as a foundation.
  • Review, validate, and approve incoming account/customer requests, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Educate and enable stakeholders to understand and fulfill data-related requirements effectively.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts and monitor ongoing results to ensure best practices for data management.

Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of business experience with a focus on data management.
  • Experience with SAP and/or Salesforce as a user or implementation project team member.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of quality improvement or process improvement tools and techniques (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Experience with data governance and management, including handling CRUD requests.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology and continuous improvement practices.
  • High degree of computer literacy, particularly in MS-Excel and KNIME.
