JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is seeking a dedicated and innovative Sr. IT Developer to join their diverse and dynamic team. This remote role offers the opportunity to collaborate with a variety of departments, including Finance, Product Management, Development, Implementations, Consulting, Support, Operations, Quality, Program Management, and Security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with various teams to define and analyze business metric needs and secure access to internal systems

  • Develop well-organized, high-quality PowerBI dashboards and reports

  • Provide comprehensive documentation around business requirements, dashboard designs, and stakeholder feedback

  • Validate that PowerBI dashboards and reports meet stakeholder and senior leader expectations

  • Share PowerBI knowledge with peers

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited institution OR High School Diploma/GED

  • Intermediate to advanced skill level in data visualization design and development tools

  • Solid PowerBI design and development skills

  • Experience creating PowerBI queries in Power Query for data transformation & preparation

  • Knowledge of DAX for creating custom calculations

  • Ability to build APIs, pull data sources such as MS SQL, Excel, CSV, JIRA, various commercial databases

  • Ability to interpret complex datasets and provide actionable insights

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced editor experience

  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills

  • Experience designing visually appealing and informative PowerBI user interfaces

  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions

  • Self-motivated with the ability to meet agreed-to timelines

  • Good people skills

  • Experience troubleshooting issues

  • Experience with Microsoft Power Automate
