Creative Media Services Specialist II
What You’ll Do
- Design and produce compelling videos through scriptwriting, storyboard creation, and video editing.
- Develop marketing style presentations, print materials, and videos which may include taking a broad, vague idea and turning it into something creative.
- Interact directly with government customers as well as our company counterparts, managers, engineers, and scientists.
- Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Perform other duties as necessary.
Working Conditions
- Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory, cleanroom, or production floor.
- BS degree in related field plus 2 or more years of related experience.
- Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master’s Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
- Must be able to provide a reel/and or example of a written script for a complete application.
- Must be skilled in storyboarding, concept art and design.
- Working knowledge of design systems and software required for Broadcast Design (Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere.
- Must have experience or academic background in graphic design, visual communications, marketing or advertising.
- Must have excellent time management and ability to meet fixed deadlines and quick turnarounds.
- Must have experience in coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must have the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communications skills.
- Flexibility in moving from one project to the next.
- Excellent interpersonal, computer and organizational skills.
- Experience with audio engineering.
- Interest in science/defense industry.
