JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client is seeking a seasoned Sr. Network Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role is integral to the design, testing, implementation, and support of our client's network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, test, implement, and support network infrastructure
- Provide consultation and direct technical support in life cycle planning, problem management, integration, and network configuration
- Administer firewall environments in line with IT security policy
- Report network operational status by gathering and prioritizing information and managing projects
- Perform basic configuration of firewalls and provide remote support for on-site engineers and end users
- Undertake data network fault investigations in local and wide area environments
- Secure network systems by establishing and enforcing policies, and defining and monitoring access
- Upgrade data network equipment to the latest stable firmware releases
- Configure routing and switching equipment, and hosted IP voice services
- Perform capacity management and auditing of IP addressing and hosted devices within data centers
- Design and implement new solutions and improve resilience of the current environment
- Maximize network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades, and collaborating with network architects on network optimization
- Communicate regularly with project management teams, third-line engineers, and service desk engineers
